ladder://{symbol}/{expiry}

The ladder for one symbol and expiry, as a resource. Read it once with resources/read, or subscribe with resources/subscribe and the server sends notifications/resources/updated whenever the ladder changes, at most 4 times a second. Re-read on each notification.

Requires ladder:read. Example URI: ladder://SPY/2026-10-23.

The contents are a JSON document (application/json) in the same shape as the get_ladder result, with every listed strike.

Notes:

  • stale: true means no quote has arrived for 5 seconds, or the latest fit was rejected and the previous good one is shown. Don’t act on a stale ladder.
  • Subscriptions end when the session ends.
